sir james I

And there's still no answer from Kalmbach.

Our friend Bob Keller says they are aware and are working on it.  As of last night, stumped but not giving up.

Slow as molasses out here on the left coast as well. I gave up waiting last night!

Today it's running fine.

Sad I too have noticed this. I used to come home and read up on the days posts after work, 10:45 or so. Now I vary rarely even try. Lets hope they can do something about this.

This is interesting. I seldom visit at night, but since I had time during class, I trotted down to the lab where we have the Internet 2 super-high speed links and tried this URL Ended up  'waiting on cs.trains.com' for 54 seconds and counting. Then tried a little more 'research' - I'll bet they have a regular update or maintenance scheduled overnight that eats up their capacity. It's something at their server level.

You'll notice that there has been no reply from them either.

It's gotten so bad that I won't visit at night anymore.  I think it's a plot! Those dad-gum HO and N guys are jamming our signal. Either that or Kalmbach is too cheap to pony up for speedier higher-capacity severs.

Been horrible for some time now.  Even using my laptop in York.  Desktop and wireless [for laptop at home] are Road Runner Turbo.  Got so I hesitate to post.

Same here.  It never loaded even when I hit reload. I went elsewhere.

right now it running fine for me but about 5 or so it gets to be a craw like maybe they turn off a couple of servers or something at night. It gets real painfullly slow like once you try to post will take over a minute if your being lucky for it to goto next page or to go from one page to another I basicly give up. I don't believe its my computor as I have even done a scan before going there and got rid of all extra trash and it doesn't help.

I can goto other sites ( not on trains network) and no problem going from page to page.

I look at the number of people on line and its right in range with how many are on line during the day so its not that there is a lot more using it at night than the day. last night 83 today 79 wow 4 more people last night.

But every night it gets to be a big craw.
