What kind of switches do you have?
Are they Lionel, or another brand?
0 guage or 027?
Manual or remote control (automatic)
If they are Lionel 027, remote control, then there are a bunch of different models
Finally, there is another size called "super O"

The 1122E  is one of several types of Lionel switches. If you have a pair of 1122E2 switches, I guess you are all set. If not, that web stie has service manual pages for other Lionel swiches.

The wiring for postwar Lionel automatic switches are not all the same. Some switches use the center terminal for the common. Other switches, such as the 1122E, use one of the end terminals as the common.
