Yes, Lionel and MTH must have found out it's better to setup at a Train Collectors show, where members walk around with pockets full of money looking for what's new and what's old.

At "public shows", a large percentage is just taking the kids out for a day of looking.

See you all, Blue E-14 and at 1:00 Friday.

Ed - it will be good to meet you there. Friday am at Denny's and 1 pm Friday at CTT booth in Orange Hall.

I can confirm Lionel has their complete space. They will just be using it differently. According to MTH's weekly e-mail blast - they are doing the same. They are both doing talks and demos in their booths.

11th Street

Of course the interesting question is  who will be filling in the spaces vacated by the downsizing gang and at what price. Will the spring squatters demand that they be able to return to those same places in the Orange come the Fall meet? Let the speculation begin: Whisper

From what I've heard they are holding onto their spaces.  At least one of the big three is going to be holding info sessions in the open area where the layout was before.

I'm back on this forum after being absent for quite sometime. I will Be at YORK from Sunday 4/10 to Saturday 4/16. It can't get here soon enough for me. It's been one lousy winter here in Maine. Today we had another snow storm....

7:45 it is for breakfast at Denny's.  I was going to ask that question, then saw that Laz had already answered it.

How about it Don, going to join us?

I'm on board for the breakfast and pic.  Also going to MTH & Tony Lash layout, as are some other CTT guys, but I'll let them announce themselves.  Will be nice to see all of you again after a loooong winter.

BTW, Not sure if I mentioned it before, but Don (DMUin CT) won the November spot on the TCA calendar with a picture of his outdoor G gauge RR.

I'll be there. Got my airfare taken care of Friday. Hotel is set. Need to nail the rental car this week. Going on the MTH and Tony Lash tour Wed.

Don (DMUin CT) - any chance of a matching Campbell's Express container on flat to match the one I bought from you last year?

Friday at 1 pm is good for me. Breakfast at Denny's Fri sounds good.

Looking forward to seeing yuz giz.

As usual, I'll be in the Blue Hall at table E-14.  Friday"s good. (I pre-pay before leaving the previous show, pre-paid table holder badges should go out this week)

As for other times, I make a week of it and not just for the other local shows.  My daughter is a Nurse in Camp Hill (Harrisburg area), so my wife and I make plans for trips and dinner with her and her husband that week when not at the show.     I stay at the Hanover Hampton Inn, FREE breakfasts!

York, PA - April 2011 - Roll Call and info
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, March 20, 2011 11:23 AM

Hey all,
Getting to be abour 3 weeks out so I figured I would post this to get the wheels in motion.

Who is attending, and who will be available on Friday about 1pm for the CTT photo? I don't think I made it up at all last year so it will be good to see the gang again.

Also, is anyone interested in meeting up at Denny's for breakfast in the morning? and or dinner Thursday night?
