Good help is hard to find but that usually does not apply to here.  Trying to buy extra screws at a hardware store is my next step though even those are hard to find in the right size for the building.  I was just wondering if I did something wrong or missed something in the directions.  I'm usually pretty good at doing this stuff hence I am wondering if it is me or did MTH not include the right number of screws.  I will also ask them at York if I can't find an answer here.  Thanks.

So far, not much help, huh?  Could you just buy extra screws at the hardware store to complete the building the way you think it should be?

Need help adding another story to MTH building
Posted by BigRail on Sunday, March 13, 2011 12:59 PM

I spent the better part of last night trying to add an additional story to my MTH hobby shop building. I must have taken it apart and put it back together three times but each time it seems like MTH did not provide enough screws. MTH gives you six screws to add the addition but it seems like you need 12. The six screws they provide are to secure three brackets to the additon. When I finish assembly of the whole structure I end up short the six screws needed to secure the bottom. Has anyone successfully added a floor and can you tell me what I am doing wrong. A second building addition for another structure also has only six screws and I borrowed those to finish my project last night. Any guidance is appreciated. Thanks.
