Dead GG1
Posted by Lou Melick on Saturday, March 12, 2011 10:07 AM

After a year or two in storage (in it's original box and in a dry room temperature invironment) my Century Club GG1 now fails to respond to either Command control or conventional control.  It preformed perfectly before storage.  Any ideas????????????

Before tearing into the GG-1 do other locomotives operate OK on the same track configuration ?

If other engines run fine then and only then one by one remove wires from where they plug into on the boards carefully and put back on again one wire off then put it back where it was then next set of wires as you may have a set of wires come loose also make sure the boards are seated good
