Thanks for the info on Williams, but they still don't have much for railroads in Pennsylvania that made it big other than the Pennsy. A new Peter Witt streetcar too.
Reading Lines(the freight division of Reading Railroad) was the fifth largest freight hauler during the 1950's. Reading Company was the passenger service part of the Reading. After 1976 there where two railroads that formed out of the leftover items(stuff that never saw Conrail) from the Reading Railroad; Blue Mountain & Reading(passenger service), still running is the Reading & Northern Railroad which is a regional freight hauler in southeastern PA.
Last time I went to Scranton PA, there were two Reading T-1's at Steamtown. Number 2102 was being serviced and I think number 2128 or 2124 was on display. FYI, there are four Reading T-1's that did not see the scrapper's torch.

In the past two years or so, the only new thing that I happened to notice is the Peter Witt trollies. Try to find Reading Company passenger cars in the Williams by Bachmann line-up.
Speaking of new prices, I wonder what the Santa Fe F-7 diesel set with matching six passenger cars with the name El Capitan/Santa Fe would cost now?
and of coarse there prices took a jump about $5.00 per car in catalog over last year for freight cars. Thats a hair over 10% increase again not sure on the engines as wasn't looking at any prior to this. do know the alco Pb-1 dummy unit went up $10.00 They were $129.95 thats a hair less than 8% be interested in seeing how much lionel and mth goes up over last year prices and this years of items they are selling again this year that they had last year

I didn't see much new but a few new road names in the 2011 catalog.

I like Williams trains for their value and durability, but they seem to be stuck in a rut so to speak with the offerings for cabooses. The only style caboose listed is the N5C, and they offer it in many roadnames that never had the N5C caboose. The other thing that gets me is there is very little for the Reading Railroad and some other northeast railroads.
I hope that the 2011 catalog is an improvement! And I hope that I don't offend anybody here on CTT, like Bob K.
