I have been a long time O gauge collector and have now started collecting MTH HO engines. I have the Southern Pacific GS-4 and GS-6 and have problems with both. The GS-4 was running okay but now it just sits on the track. My GS-6 was running fine and now it runs fine except it won't pull more than one or two cars. I am wondering if there is anyone else with a problem with these engines. I am thinking of taking them apart but really would rather not. I have troubleshooted all track issues and all other MTH HO engines I have run fine on my track. I have many of the diesels and steam engines that are HO MTH and they run fine on the same track. Thanks for any help anyone can offer with this issue.
If the engines are still in warranty, get them repaired by MTH or your Authorized service center---
