022 & 711 Switch Action
Posted by runtime on Thursday, February 10, 2011 10:20 PM

I know this subject was covered in a thread not too many weeks ago, but I can't find it.

I have provided adequate power to all my switches (16 AWG @ 16 V to the common voltage plug dirctly or close by, and with a strong 16 AWG direct or nearby common to the center switch terminal), but two switches still do not throw all the way to 'lock', and two have a dead anti-derailing function on the turnouts.

Direct instruction for remedy, and/or reference  to the earlier thread  on 022 switch refurbisning would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Thanks!

Wow, I thought I'd read that originally a few months ago, but it was actually a YEAR and a few months ago - I feel like Rip Van Winkle. Worse than that, it means it's been over a year since I started thinking about working on my switches. Well at least I', now working on them.
