I have known John Smith, owner of Pecos River Brass, for some years. John basically shut the business down some years ago but still has a web-site for PRB (which is also a band he is the leader of). You might be able to contact him through his web site (see his e-mail address).

At one time he told me these units were worth around $2500, but better you try to communicate with him directly to get his opinion vs mine. I do not know how often he checks his old e-mail.

You could also post your question over on the Model Railroader forum as this forum is for toy trains and the PRB diesel models were two-rail scale models. One last place you could watch is e-bay for going asking prices. Sometimes these units show up there.
