Seayakbill,

Wow,

If it isn't S scale or HO scale, I normally wouldn't comment.  But, that is one mean layout.  Very, very, nice.  Show us more.

B&O and CSX sharing duties hauling motor vehicles. Feel sorry for whoever opened any of those Bud's on the leading flat, all shook up. Traincrew must not have sampled the cargo, no pile-ups. Smile, Wink & Grin

The much awaited day is finally here.

Its opening day for the Winter Frolic.

Extras have been pulling into town all weekend bringing tourists and folks from the big cities to our little town.  Each train has been met by the band.

The management of the railroad even called in some streamliners to bring passengers non-stop from Chicago, Miwaukee, and Saint Paul.

The festival grounds look great.

Opening day is always the judging of the ice sculpture contest. The artists have been working for most of the week to produce their creations.

There will be many other activities throughout the week, including skating at the pond.  The band even decided to venture out onto the ice today.

Attendance has been a bit low today.  I think it has something to do with that big football game down in Texas.

For those of us enduring the winter that will not end, it will get warmer.

That said, Ice Cream anyone ?
