Welcome Lorjon,

Have you tried naming all your accessory devices; one thru ten? Even your unused ones, all 10, must be named, even putting unused or not inuse on them. This happened to me with the switches on an AIU.

I agree with Phillyreading.  You must name your accessories in the remote and make sure you save it.  When you go to turn on the accessories press  ACC,  on,

Thanks for the response, but here is what is happening, I named all 10 accessories as you suggested. I hooked up a simple light on ACC 1.   I selected the ACC button and the list of 10 comes up with an arrow on ACC#1. I pressed the ON softkey nothing happened.  I selected ACC#2 (which has nothing wired to it)  hit the ON softkey and the light came ON which is wired to ACC#1 and then I hit the OFF softkey it would not turn off. I then hit the ALL softkey and I was able to turn OFF the light assigned to #1 and also able to turn it OFF.   When I got it  OFF I went back to normal procedure trying to select ACC#1 and the same issue occured. It's driving me crazy because it makes no sense I am thinking that this AIU is defective.

With the accessory unit, the MTH AIU, you must name all ports or it will act up as described by Lorjon.

To remedy this problem; delete ALL entries for the AIU, then re-enter the used ports(be careful not to miss an accessory port when naming), and name the un-used ports 'unused' or 'not in use', as all ports must be named!!

I had problems with the AIU when setting up my switches before I knew what was happening, as I only had 8 switches hooked up but had problems accessing the switches on the remote control. You have to fool the remote control into thinking it has a switch or accessory for every port, then it will work correctly.
