Lionel 9500 series passenger car with longnecked plastic coupler has a serious case of the 'droops'. What can be done to realign this coupler?     I'm uncoupled!!!      Cal

If I'm thinking right these cars have separate applied coupler. there 2 routes to go first the most cheaply way to do or attempt to do is goto hard ware store and find small washer and put it on the screw and then re-screw the screw carefully into the body if it works great if not the other solution I believe Lionel makes trucks with long neck coupler that would eliminate the problem for good.

might check with jeff kane at www.ttender.com
