Kevin,
As, I said before, I'm sorry.
I checked "The Western Depot," because I ordered from them in the past for Williams' older products and I spoke to the Proprietor and he told me that he goes into Philly, Penna., to Bachmann's to find out what's coming on the market.
My problem was I did NOT check further, as Texas Pete did and thanks to Pete you were not misled.
Again, my apologies,
Take care,
Ralph
Thanks for the info. I did check it out, and as Teaxas Pete said it only show the one engine available. Just thought someone would know what has been going on with that particular product. I also belong to the Williams by Bachman online forum, and have asked there too; but no luck with any answer. I am going to keep trying; but i am not holding my breath. Thanks again!
Pete,
You are correct.
I am sorry Kevin, I did not click on further, as Pete did.
Maybe, if you call 'The Western Depot' to find out what is with the S.P. GS-4.
Sorry to break this to you, but the link you posted, the one that leads to illustrations of several locomotives including a SP GS4, when you click on that product only a Western Pacific GS4 is shown as being available.

Did you read my post, if you are interested in obtaining the Bachmann/Williams S.P. GS-4, then for sure 'The Western Depot' has it and when I last spoke to the Proprietor, regarding Williams trains, he mentioned that he goes to Bachmann meetings, to personally know of their new products, in Philadelphia, Penna.
Everything or almost everything in O gauge trains comes from China on the back of a slow turtle pulled by a half-dead snail! Then there is the lawsuit or legal situation with Sanda Kan holding company that may help slow things down.

Check out "The Western Depot," the proprietor deals directly with Williams by Bachmann, they're in California.

This should give you what you want.
Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone knew why it has been so hard to get the Williams by Bachman SP GS4. I know thgat it is slated for production again sometime the spring; but was just curious as to what happened that made this perticular model so hard to aquire compared to the rest of there products. Any info into this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
