It should be of some decent value, as Ives went out of business before WW-2. The color of paint(if the paint matches an Ives color) used and quality of the paint job(how does the paint job look? is it amatuer or professional looking?) will affect the price. Even with a re-paint job, Ives trains are worth money to a collector. The condition is very important as well, does it run on the track? Do the couplers work? Do the lights work in the passenger cars, if so equipped? These are factors in determining value of an older train.
