Yes, what about passenger set #2526W , on the same page as #2523W in 1958? It came with twin #2383 A-units, a #2530 baggage car, two #2532 "Silver Range" dome cars, a #2531 "Silver Dawn" observation car, and an oval of Super O track. It sold for $100.

Hello,

Well forgive me, but I managed to find the answer to my question and wanted to share it with the group!

Answer:

1. The 2383 was part of Outfit No. 2523W, which was featured in the 1958 Lionel
consumer catalog (p.40). The set sold for $95.00 and the 2383's sold separately for
$49.95.

2. The 2383 was part of Outfit No. 2544W, which was featured in the 1960 Lionel
consumer catalog (p.30).

Did I miss any?

Have a GREAT day,
Bill

Hello,

Does anyone know whether or not the Lionel 2383 Santa Fe F-3 AA Units (58-66) were ever featured in one of Lionel's consumer catalogs? If so, how and what year(s)?

Thanks in advance,
Bill
