I am a new subscriber to CTT magazine. It seems I received an unsolicited DVD in the mail a while back and just tonight opened it. I assumed, wrongly, that it was a free premium for subscribing and being busy with work, Christmas, kids, etc. put it aside. Turns out I have to either pay for it or return it. I am popping it back in the mail tomorrow morning without looking at it. I am quite annoyed that CTT would send me an unsolicited DVD. I am surprised that anyone still does this sort of thing! I hope his never happens again.
First, this is the "Classic Trains" forum, not the "Classic Toy Trains" forum. I would suggest you register your complaint on the company's Customer Service site. That will ensure your dissatisfation reaches appropriate company officials. The link you need follows:

Yes, I understand your ire, and it bothers me personally as well. However, as a moderator, I have to agree that the best process is to register your observation with customer service. The staff do read the forum, but they are not here all the time and may miss what you are suggesting to them. Best to let customer service reps receive your complaint and pass it to them.
I will now move this to the appropriate forum.
