New WIlliams Aluminum Passenger Set (43098) on O27?

I have found posts of those stating that the post war 25xx series passengers cars can run on O27 but will the new Williams cars from the Golden Memories Series also run on 027?

Yes, I know the catalog states O31 but I'm sure someone is successfully running them.

The 2500-series extruded aluminum cars will handle the O27 curves but cannot get past the O27 switch machines.  I modified a 19100 baggage car to run in my Amtrak train by cutting off the skirts from the sides of the car, rationalizing that the prototypes have no such skirts.

So the 1122 switches won't work...Sad
