Lionel 334 Dispatch Board Wiring
Posted by edtybor on Saturday, December 18, 2010 5:40 PM

Does anyone know how to connect a Lionel 334 dispatch board.  There are 3 terminals. I am just not sure how they connect to the transformer. I know one runs through a No. 90 button. Thanks

The operating voltage required is 10-14 volts from the transformer.  The #90 controller  gets wired to post post #2 and post #3 of the dispatch board.  Another wire from post #3 goes back to transformer, along with a wire from post #1 of the dispatch board to the transformer.  Operation is completed by pushing the #90 control button to connect post 1 and post 2.  As soon as the carriage has moved far enough to allow the internal switch to close, you can release the #90 button and the action will continue until  the carriage assembly completes its cycle.  Info is from Lionel service manual.  Hope it clears it up for you.
