The only thing that really bothers me is that I can't watch the videos.  Streaming just doesn't work on dial-up!

You are not alone, Becky. I am still using dial-up too. I guess if we can run antique toy trains, we can also use antique internet connections.

It also happens when you have a prehistoric dial-up modem like I do!  LOL

A good beginning strategy might be to check your security settings on your browser/security software.

When I open up threads and think I will see pics there is nothing there. I tried to search for the answer  to my question as I am sure it has been asked but to no avail.
