It was indeed a good day for our club--we had an excellent turnout for our opening for the day (there had to be almost 200 people in and out throughout the day,) and the article surely was a big help (the holiday shopping didn't hurt either!) Hopefully, if there's anyone else in the area who's into the hobby, this will help them find us. I just want to know how newspaper photographers can manage to find your worst side and photograph you from it so consistently? :)
Great article, glad you received some media attention.
Fife - It is pronounced school-kill. I grew up in Shenandoah which is in that county.

Cruikshank, I clicked on your link, but got a "page not found" error.
Nice long article on your layout, Dave. Who in the wide-wide-world-of-sports charges $6 to see their display?
Question - what is the proper pronunciation of Schuylkill? What is the proper pronunciation of Cruikshank?
Nice newspaper article on the club layout. Hopefully your new visitors will get the electric train bug.

We got some nice press today in our local Sunday Newspaper. They gave us almost a full page and 1/2 coverage with 5 color photos. We asked on our facebook page for some help getting media coverage of our layout. A local reporter stepped up to the task and this article is what he gave us. It resulted in great attendance today and the best donations we had in over a year. We hope to follow this up with some coverage by the local TV station. Please check out the article. Thanks, Wally, Mike, and Dave
