Jim, neat photos, looks like a few Buckeye fans down in Portsmouth. Heading over to Springfield, Ohio this morning for their annual Christmas train meet.

            Lassie Gets a New Home

Our story begins with an unscheduled extra.  This train wasn't on any timetable, and its consist was all white.

A familiar nose pokes its way out from a boxcar from Baltimore.

What is this place, he thinks, as he disem"barks".

In typical Lassie fashion, he decides to mosey on down Cash Valley Road.

He hadn't been able to chase rabbits for years, but he certainly got these guys' attention.

Hey, some familiar faces!  But I'm not seeing my family.

So, he keeps journeying down the tracks.

Into a new town, looking for a kind face.

Hello Lassie, says the Chief.  We've been waiting for you.  It's not quite heaven, but it certainly is a nice place to spend time.

What's with all these cats...?  Sheesh!

Very nice.  I have several of the Craftsman box cars, but not the others.  Thanks for putting these together.

Thanks for the great photos this week folks.

Jim, the All Aboard layout looks great.  And your helpers look delighted to be there with you.

A special thanks to fife.  For those of us who have furry friends its an especially meaningful tribute.

So fife, you get the first official "Tip of the Fedora"
