I have a Lionel CNW GP9 with TMCC and a wire to the motor burned of after a derailment. Now the motor will not run until the throttle on Cab 1 is turned about 2 full revolutions. All the electronic functions work fine. I am wondering what the little electronic cylinders connected to the brushes are and what they are for. Are they resistors or diodes or what. Could one of these be burned out? The wire that burned off lead to a terminal on the motor that one of these is soldered to. Are they something that I can get at an electronics store such as Radio Shack? Any advice would be appreciated as I would like to try fix this myself before sending it in for repairs. Thanks, Matt
