Lettering on Lione 2344 Engine Shell
Posted by edtybor on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 11:49 AM

I have a set of Lionel 2344 NYC diesel engines.  On one of the shells the white "new york central" lettering is almost completely worn off.  Is there a semi-easy way to apply new lettering to the shell? Thanks for your help.

One way might be to send them to Len Carparelli. He may be willing to redo just the lettering, He restores old lionel and has the screen printing equipment.
