I purchase a restore Flyer Hiawatha set a few years ago so I cannot help you with the paint but for the lettering and some parts you will need check out the following vendors.  If you are a TCA member the York show is the place to go to find matching paints, parts and graphics.

Help. I am planning on restoring an "O" gauge American Flyer "Hiawatha"  Locomotive. I would love to hear from anyone who has done this, or who has had it done regarding parts and correct paint colors etc.. Thankyou in advance, Bill G.
