Hello:
Does anyone know of someone that can repair or provide parts for the Lionel #50 or #55 operating control tower and airplane. This item was only made for a few years.

Welcome to the forum. Lots of good knowledge here.
Try an internet search on 'Lionel parts' or 'Lionel #50 parts'. You will probably get a good list of possible vendors. If you dig around in Olson's web site, you will be able to find some pretty good exploded views and parts lists that are helpful in determining exactly what you need.
Many parts vendors are listed in the advertisement section of Classic Toy Trains too.
