What does the MTH message "maintenance needed" mean when it show on the controler, and how is it reset?
it is time to lube your engine. the mileage counter has logged 1,000 scale miles.
To Reset it:
This is done with your remote. Start your engine, after it reads 'Maintenance Needed', use the soft keys to (F5) to when it shows 'More', press the F4 key. Then scroll through the list until you see 'Maintenance'.
Press the thumb wheel. (depending on the age of the engine, it will be #34 thru $39.) IT will show a screen with RST (press and hold the F5 key. Keep holding it down until it clears.

Thanks for the information. I have lubed the engine, but I did not know that part of the DCS also kept track of that type of information. Guess I will have to do more reading to find out all the workings of the system.
