Here's the latest from the Mt. Graham Boiler Shop. I just replaced the plastic wheels on the tender. Will be headed to a friend of mine's 5 year old.

Need ejection seats for the engineer....
IF IT WON'T COME LOOSE BY TAPPING ON IT, DON'T TRY TO FORCE IT. USE A BIGGER HAMMER.

It better work. It is based upon a plan drawn up by Timboy which I have followed to the letter.

Nice shots! How do you operate the giraffe cars on that style track? Also, who made the pink giraffe car?
Thank you!
The giraffe cars run on a tubular track ( inside the gargraves ) with other operating cars.
The pink and green St Louis zoo cars were done by Lionel / Weaver for the Lionel Collector Club of America. Around 100 pink and 150 green.
Ok then, Thanx for that. I'll have to keep an eye out for the pink ones for my granddaughter.

I have seen a couple for sale at LCCA conventions, going price is $700.
Yea, considering there's only about 100 hundred made, I wouldn't be surprised. I asked because I never saw them listed on any Lionel Postwar list.
Hmmm - nothing a little Krylon won't fix [:))]
Nice cars!
RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.
LOL, you could be right.
Then you could run a whole consist of pink giraffe cars!
