Lionel PRR F7 VS. MTH PRR F7

Hi Guys,

   What do you think is a better loco, the Lionel PRR F7 or MTH PRR F7?  I have seen the MTH version on Youtube and it really looks good.  I still have to see a Lionel version.  I am very tempted to get the MTH but, I just recently bought a PRR E8 and the details are very good.  The problem is,  it has so much details that when I opened the box, the antenna was bent, the doors are not flushed.  When I called their service or warranty dept. they said it will take them at least a month to fix my train.  Why can't they just replace the cab?  This is the reason why I am asking.  I want to get a PRR F7 and they are both available on MTH and Lionel.

I have a few MTH engines and would buy another, good pulling power. Have several Lionel engines and not as impressed with Lionel for the money.

Have you looked at the Williams F7? It has metal wheels and gears, but it don't have command control so it will be less than either the Lionel or MTH.

Thanks Lee, I am really considering getting an MTH since majority of my trains are MTH.  The only thing is, yes MTH has a lot of detail and being so, people in the factory overlook a lot of these things.  For example, I just got my Premier PRR E8 and the doors are not aligned properly, the antennas are bent.  That is the reason why I was asking about lionel.  Anyway, maybe it was just this unit.  Thanks
