It goes in series with the 167. Unless you don't mind resetting it whenever it trips unnecessarily on a momentary overload, you would be better served by an automatic-resetting thermal automotive circuit breaker.

How do you wire up the #91 circuit breaker, while using a 167 Whistle direction controller?? I am using a Z transformer. I have the instructions for the 91, but they are old and unclear. And the instructions do not show it used with the 167 whistle controller or a Z transformer. Any help will do. Thanks. York is only a few days away. I will be looking for some standard gauge odds and ends. Maybe some more 222 or 223 switches that work with the controllers.
