Richhotrain: In toy train nomenclature, post war refers to WWII. It begins with the year 1945, but there is some range of opinions as to when it ended. I'll let the academicians of the train world debate that one. I truthfully don't care. I'm not trying to be smart. I just don't care, because in the end; I know one thing for certain. For the AC Gilbert trains that I love, it didn't go beyond 1967. LOL

I assumed we were talking WWI but in looking at Timboy's Avatar I suppose I should have indicated WWII.

Do you want pre-war or post-war?
Guys: I don't know of an American Flyer screen saver out there per se, but I know how to make one. Go to this site and download your favorite pics from the Gilbert American Flyer catalogs:
http://myflyertrains.org/
Store them on your hard drive and load them into a screen saver that you probably already have. Otherwise, you can easily get a free one by searching online. That is precisely what I did and I love it! Here is a site where you can make your own from some generic ones:

My newest blog is about how I hand-lay my own track. If you haven't seen it and want to, go here:

As always, when visiting ANY web site, make sure you use protection AND it is up to date!
