Lionel #117 station?
Posted by Darth Santa Fe on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 7:00 PM

I'm working on cleaning up a Lionel #117 station (which is in amazing condition), and I noticed there's a lever on the top of it. The positions for the lever are slow, fast, and continuous. There are three terminals for wires, labeled 1, 2, and 3. Does anyone know what the station does?

Darth, Dr.Fu-Manchu here: You have a train control station. I have one also(have to clean it up and get it working)  It's like the #132(or is it #133) train stop station. It's a Pre-War piece. It was made from 1936 to 1942. It's Pre-War O Gauge. I think it hooks up like the Post-War type.  Hope this helps.

Darth, Dr.Fu-Manchu found the instruction sheet (in a pre-war book) for the #117 Station. If you want a copy, drop a email to me and I will send you one.

I was actually given full instruction on how to use the station a little while ago over a PM. Thanks for your offer to help, though!

Glad to hear you found what you needed. I was catching up on old posts(been busy w/non-lionel stuff) and thought you were still looking.

Cheers,
