wallyworld I have what I think are a couple of full retail boxes that are unused MTH trestle bents good for tinplate and Realtrax that I have no use for., and would like to denote them to a group that promotes toy trains for kids..Also, some odds and ends. I seem to recall such a group but cannot remember in detail where they could be contacted. Any ideas?

Wally,
I don't know if you saw it on the other forum, but on the OGR forum, there is a TFK "Trains For Kids" program. I don't know how many years they have been doing it, but I was an Ambassador last year, and presented a set to a very deserving Family, it was a VERY REWEARDING experience. I am signed up as an Ambassador again this year, but they haven't gottten enough donations yet to earn a set for me to present yet, and I still need to find a Family to present it to.
They gave Lionel sets last year, and though I haven't heard the details yet, Lionel is officially involved this year is my understanding. If your items are compatible with Fastrax, they would possibly be useful, Last year I added some plasticville buildings, a stock car and some cattle from my own collection to the set I presented.
Looking forward to doing it again this year,
Doug
