US Train Collectors Population - followup
Posted by toytrainskh on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 4:51 PM

Hello again all! Thank you for all the help you have provided for me via the US Train Collectors Population thread!

I wanted to followup to see who, if anyone, might be able to help me. My name is Sarah, and I work for Sears. They’re interested in trains because they think a lot of Sears customers would become more serious modelers if they knew about awesome forums like this. Also, many beginner model train buyers aren’t savvy with social media, so I’m really interested in meeting people, learning about trains and building bridges between beginners and forums. Sears thinks that if they help the model road community, that might help them grow their train business.

If you are interested in helping me gather some information, I would invite you to take this short survey!

Thank you kindly!

Sarah, All can benefit from model trains, not just business, but also modelers, especially children. Children need more, than just computerized games, etc.., they need hands on type of enjoyment. Whether, alone, or with guidance children need to build imagination and character, which gives them a feeling of self worth and creativity and model railroading is one way to accomplish this need. Through Sears, selling model railroad products and having a knowledgeable staff will be beneficial for all concerned. As, Sears has a fine reputation, great products and loyal patronage. Ralph
