Use of pre-way scenic plots on a layout
Posted by kcoyle on Thursday, August 12, 2010 2:48 PM

Hi,

I am curious to hear of the experiences of members that have either used original or created their own pre-war lionel scenic plots for their pre-war layouts? If plots were used how did you paint the layout board itself? Did you try to tie everything together from streets to areas without plots. I am asking as some plots had sidewalks on them. I read through "Tips and Tricks for toy train operators" and saw the idea of creating the scenic plots, which has be very interested.

Any ideas and layout photos with using plots would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Kevin Coyle

There was an article in the past year I think in CTT where modules were made and joined together.  I looked very interesting.
