Anyone know if Lionel plans on releasing B-units to go with their F3's released in the conventional classics line?
Which brings me to my next question. Im in the market for a set of Santa Fe F3's, postwar style. Im not particular about make, but as long as they run well and are a good value. Im seriously considering a set of Williams Santa Fe f3 A-B-As. I also considered the Lionel Conventional Classics F3s, but the lack of a b-unit gives me pause. any reccomendations?

Nick! :)
My opinion? Get a Williams set. The only drawback would be the satin finish red paint. But, the new CC lionels just came that way too. A very good reason for buying Williams is the old Lionel F3's are often very tired and need parts and repairs. You can get a F3 set from Williams for only 215.00! I own several Willimas F3's and love them. They get run nearly every day. Practically Zero maintenance.

Great, thanks for the input. Im strongly leaning towards the williams set.
