Color coded 4 wire flat cable for American Flyer Switches?
Posted by barns1 on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 1:06 PM

Does anyone know of a supplier for bulk (100ft roll) color coded 22 ga 4 wire flat cable to wire my switches on my layout? I was thinking about the flat trailer wire but it is a little larger gage (16-18) than I need.

Check out Olsens' Toy Train Parts at website above. They have all types.

Good Luck!

For a big roll, go to DigiKey.com and search for flat wire. They have 22 gauge mulitcolor in a spool.

If you want to buy it cheap, call Skycraft in Winter Park, Florida. www.skycraftsurplus.com They have a lot of wire. Most of what they sell is not on their web site, so call the store. If they have what you want, it will be considerably cheaper than buying it from anyone else. You could also call http://roycewire.com/main/index.php. Look up wire and cable on the Internet and you may be able to find a wire distributor in your area. Bruce Baker
