Restoration Help
Posted by mikeedw on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 12:04 AM

Does anyone know of a store or person in the Southwest, Ohio area that can restore and/or fix lionel trains?  If so, could you please let me know.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

IF IT WON'T COME LOOSE BY TAPPING ON IT, DON'T TRY TO FORCE IT. USE A BIGGER HAMMER.

I understand there are some good trains shops in Ohio, I am very surprised no one mentioned any. You can also send them to CTT's very own Len Carparelli. He can paint and fix them. He is in the CTT magazines. You could also call Chuck Sartor at Mizells trains in Denver. He is top notch.

I have two engines and two tenders that need fixed.  I also have a cop/hobo car and a milk car that are not working.

Thanks, Roger.  I'll give them a try.
