I might be wrong but most items by tyco that were related to trains and such were more to the HO scale so you might do better asking over on the Model railroader side of the house here.

Tyco racer with propeller

Does anyone have any information, part number, model number, true name, where I might find one, etc, on one of these things?

Apparently, they were made by Athearn and Atlas, and packaged by Tyco in a set, which included a double figure-8 track layout and two engines. You could also buy them separately.

The engines were a plastic shell placed on top of a Hustler frame, and had a 4 blade propeller off the back. The motor drove the propeller, but not the wheels.

Any pictures, pictures of original ads, or ideas where I might find one would help me out (I know you can't really advertise, but if you know of one, you could email me: tilt@rustedwheels dot com)

 Thank you
