I'm sorry to disagree with the almighty Lionel ... but this is extremely overdue ... it's 99% software .... poor = extremely poor on their part ... let's admit it

the software was done last october .  version 1.3 was made available to members of legacy users group.

the problem was related to the mass production of modules

Sorry, but I would rather they fix what wasn't working in v1.0, v1.1, v1.2, and incorporate the more in demand feature requests, and ensure it works, than to have to keep reporting issues back to Lionel.

From what I've heard the update is very much worth the wait. The only thing missing that I was hoping for is the ability to assign higher than 99 as an engine id.

SD-40T-2

Question:
I am a bit curious as to the long delay for the Lionel Legacy modules v1.3

From what I read in the LUG report from April York, there are a lot of enhancements to the system and there were some production delays overseas that Lionel could not control.

According Mike Reagan, the Director of Customer Service, the 1.3 modules have been manufactured and packaged in our facility in China and are now in transit to the U.S. We are expecting to be able to ship them to customers after the first of August.

Posted by number 9 on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 9:56 PM

I havn't visited the forum for a while so this may be an old question. Has anyone recieved the upgrade for the Legacy or are we all still waiting? I understood it was to be shipped by now. Thanks in advance for the update.
