I believe its what you think its worth which must be at least $600.

I have no interest in the JC so I wouldn't pay anywhere near that but on the other hand someone who is a JC fan probably would think what a great deal you got.

I agree need numbers set number ect. You may have paid on the high side but sounds like a nice set. Again the numbers tell the story.

Do you have the stock number of the engine and passenger cars? Just to get a relative value according to Greenberg's price guide.

Before you buy something(regardless of the brand name), you must ask yourself; "Is it really worth the money I will be spending for something? & How badly do I want this item?" I can't tell you that you got a good buy or not, that is something you need to decide.

A while back, about a year ago I bought a set of Amtrak passenger cars, 21 inch cars, made by Atlas at a train show for $75.00. I sold the Atlas passenger cars for $80.00 a year later. OK, so I made a $5.00 profit but it was something that I wanted to buy at the time, however the passenger cars proved to be too large for my layout after a few months of running them with my diesel engines.

Tell me what you think i just bought a new in box for 600.00 a jersey central fm with tmcc and 3 passenger cars that are metal not plastic its the remake of the 1950s fm unit. Do you think it was worth it?
