now no pic but if you give them a call you can find more about these but at $429.95 I would think they have tmcc and all in it

did you try giving nicholassmith trains a call as I bet one was 2 rail they both were RS1's so I would think one was 2 rail. And yes O is O even if most of us seem to have 3 rail to me there both great did have a 2 rail O years back made by Lima that I got when in the navy and in Naples, Itlay

Yes I am in Two Rail O Gauge. JUST because I am in Two rail does not mean I dont like 3 rail, I like em all. Even the older Standard Gauge which were before my time.. way before. I went two rail to utilize existing DCC control system until I can pick up other systems such as Lionel.

I ended up ordering another B&O Power from an importer and that engine should do well for the money.

Maybe someday Atlas O will re release these RS Units and some others to follow up on their 0-6-0 switcher for example.I have difficulty when a engine is released without the proper sound and electronics already installed for the money.

Thank you for taking the time to answer and find the items in question. It is much appreciated.

Are you sure you mean DCC?

As I recall DCC is an H.O. scale item for use with H.O. engines.

Atlas RS1 O Gauge engine, not having much luck finding them...

Is it possible that every single place search able online, ebay and all sources simply don't have the Atlas O Scale RS1 in the B&O Colors as a DCC ready model?

I have located mountains of Atlas O gauge RS1 engines in many road names and it seems to be Beano that gets the short stick.

As I see it, they are already out of production for a few years to boot.

How should I hunt for these O scale engines more effectively?

I buy engines and run the hell out of them, now I feel like a collector trying to hunt the holy grail or something =)
