 I took one of my favorite MPC Steamers off the shelf last night.  I left the sound off, because the whistle reminds me of a sick cow.  Still fun though:

 Wow, one of MPC's greatest re-issues. Wasn't it the 6-8-6 that was made in Mexico?

Jon, Great video, well thought out sequences and camera angles.  Your layout is wonderful, I love the balasted tubular track with the extra ties.  Your landscaping and scenery really fit well with the track work.  Truly amazing and an inspiration to all who love the miniature world of toy trains.  Thanks for sharing.

Nice video, nice layout and nice trains. But it's a bit depressing to hear that 1986 is already "retro."

Thanks again for the comments.  I graduated from Westminster College in PA in 1986.  The FARR Turbine set was the first thing I purchased with my first real paycheck!
