Bowser motorizing kit for turntable
Posted by compengsvs@comcast.net on Saturday, June 5, 2010 5:36 PM

Picked up one of those dudes yesterday on Ebay and very reasonable. Now I'll be able to build my own 34 inch turntable and it won't cost me a grand. Oh it will be mostly wood with aluminum flashing but when done it will look nice. Most of the turntables available are not 34 inches. I want to be able to roll my A and B units still hooked up, onto the turntable and then park them  on a siding. So on it goes! As soon as my X roomie comes back and take his stuff then it begins for real. Installing the two Lionel Lift Bridges will be done with a lot of pictures to show the progress. I won't post all of them to bore you, just the important ones. Lanscaping I'm not great at, no I'm not good at, but I have a female friend who is an artist and that should help. Being an engineer it's either an 0 or a 1 and not much in between. I also picked up so synthetic lubricating oil for my trains. More on that later.
