US Airways 95% of the time.  But do fly American, United, Continental [not if I can help it], Delta and SW [the Trailways of the ariways].

I got 6 - 8 of them each time we met and I don't even know what a ProMariner is. All I know is the Chief was hanging around in the aisles of a big sporting goods store. Always thought that was a little strange but once he gave me all those little flashlights I didn't care what he was doing there.

Pro Mariner has/had LED little flashlights.  Always carried a Ziploc with 6 to 8 of them for each flight.  Gave then to the flight attendants when we got ready to take off.

I assume everyone got a Pro Mariner LED flashlight except me, the one person that actually purchased a Pro Mariner On-board Battery Charger. Sad

Of coarse we all did hmmm wonder why he didn't give you one Whistling

I knew it!!!!! Eight Ball Darn that old geezer's hide.  He's pulled another fast one on me.  I know where the box car is located.

........Mayor's job takes up too much time.

Chief......I think the real reason you have no time is that you are running a secret underground prison facility out on the Eagles' nest property for captured Yankee infiltrators and are conducting secret and inhumane grits experiments on them.  FIN has been added as another gaurd dog.  Wink

Mayor's job takes up too much time.  Pro Mariner has cut way back since the economy thingy.  Only about three of us working for them.  Restricted to the spring shows only.  Sales Manager is doing a few training trips to new stores.  BPS and Cabela's have really cut back on their new store openings.  I would work a few Grand Openings if they needed me [they now that].  Actually have worked for expenses only and no fee.  Why I can get free chargers.  Another thing, tired of FLYING.  Even though I get first class free as have so many miles built up, still a pain.  Was fun for a while and enjoyed meeting and visiting with CTT folks.  Too many hours sittting in airports and on planes while waiting to take off, delayed flights and etc.  Will say, checked my main roller bag all the time.  Luggage was only late three times in all the years of flying.  One arrived two hours later at hotel.  The other two arrived at my house the next morning [missed my flight out of Charlotte to RDU].  Now I have had three new roller bags from US Airways as they destroyed three.  That was not problem.  The one I have now had the plastic parts on the bottom that hold it sitting up torn off.  I made one from wood painted black and bolted it to the inside with an aluminum plate inside for enforcement.  That one has lasted.

PS: learned a trick.  Pro Mariner has/had LED little flashlights.  Always carried a Ziploc with 6 to 8 of them for each flight.  Gave then to the flight attendants when we got ready to take off.  They went crazy over those.  They could use them when flying at night and cabin dark.  Wife flew with me one time.  We were not in first class.  Gave the flashlights out.  She was amazed at how I got treated [free drinks and all].  "Be nice to the crew and they will be nice to you."

Chief...Glad you like it!!!! There were some other ideas floated around, but this was the hands down winner.  It has been 6 years since you started the pot and I remember some days that there were maybe 3 or 4 postings until you did the CTT tour of the nation to meet and greet.  I assume that many of the participents have not met you, so I would suggest signing up with Pro Mariner for another tour of the nation.  Laugh

Oh NO NOT THAT!  That will lead to another GREAT GRIT CAPER!!!!  I can't go through another one of those.

laz57

Buck up Laz!!!  Yes, you guz in PA did not foresee the Chief getting the best of you , but due to the special high intensity training over the last four or five years, ya can handle the old geezer now like us guz in OHIO.  Smile,Wink, & Grin

Well, Miss Edna and the gang thought it was great.  Thanks all.  Only thing better would have been Buckeye in a Yankee uniform crawling out of the hole and me shooting.  Whistling  Not really but that should get some conversation going.  Hey, gives me an idea.  Miss Edna has a fox and the hunter.  HUMMM. Chief,

It was all good fun. I will let some of the other guys fill you in on the stats, but this started months ago and involved hundreds of e-mails. Even better is with the big e-mail distribution list we had running, no one accidentally used one with your address and spilled the beans on this little caper!

So here is some video for those wanting to see more:

The original accessory - Fox and Hunter

The final modified accessory - Chief vs the beavers

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3l-fK8T_V2I

A close up of the sneaky beaver and dynamite - note the fuse which is made of fiber optics appears to be sparking. This element was the Pièce de résistance !

Enjoy!

Chief, thanks for the photos.  Roy deserves all the credit for building this thing.  I'm glad that you liked it.  I love your new screened porch.  Great for keeping the skeeters at bay.  All you need now is a swing.  Happy days!
