If you use the 315 truck you will need to make a way to attach the tender similar to how the tender attaches on the 315, that is to a cross bar on the rear of the cab.

In short yes it can be done with out a major re-do

I am toying with the idea of using a 315 K5 PRR Pacific trailing truck on it.
I wonder if it can be made to fit the 302 without major modifications.
Are you talking a truck from like a 332 and putting it on a 322 or 302 or what?
