yep its a play set.. they may have needed a truck with pickup rollers.

I was just hunting around on ebay and found one of the new Lone Ranger General Locomotives. Has anyone noticed that the tender trucks are simulated modern roller bearing trucks? It looks ok, it's a toy anyway, but I thought I'd put that out there.
