The Marx tinplate is great and those streamliners are really special.  I love the retro layout with all that tinplate and tubular track.  The video makes me feel like I went back to a less complicated, fun time in the past.

I love Marx.  I now own quite a few sets and lots of pieces in addition.  I have in decades past coverted the couplers to link to Lionel and switched to AF couplers, but no more.Cool

In recent years I have a Marx layout at my AMVETS office in Ironton Ohio.  Here is another clip on Marx which is entertaining as it has music with the video.  The layout in the clip is not mine, but I wish it were!My 2 cents

This is also one exceptionally well  done video of Marx trains. In fact, it got me on the path to Marxism..especially that articulated -torpedo powered NYC consist...

Who said tinplate trains are not long? Is this some kind of record?
