Lionel Collectors Club of America Excursion Question
Posted by wrawroacx on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 10:05 AM

I see from this site - http://www.uprr.com/aboutup/excurs/steamtr.shtml#2 that from July 22 - July 26 of this year of 2010 that the UP Heritage Steam Program is having a Lionel Collectors Club of America Excursion. My question is, What exactly does this mean and what is it?

I did the LCCA UP Heritage Trip the last time the convention was in Denver. You catch the train in Denver for the run up to Cheyenne then bus it back to Denver. I had a seat in one of the domes which really made for some great picture taking behind the 844. About half way to Cheyenne they let all the folks out to get some run-by movies and pictures.

Run-by of the UP executive train out in the sage brush on the way to Cheyenne.
