Some great looking photos and equipment appearing on the above pages!  Lots of good layout scenes, really makes the whole story.

I too had a few cars getting prepared for the holiday.

Ye old Bicentenial Set, which typically adorns the shelf getting onto the layout.  Below is the U36 B, and the favorite Uncle Sam Car, cars 7601 and 7613, managed to find their way as well.

A Conventional test drive yielded very positive results, Hurray!

Considerable activity going on in the yard, The Bicentennial was given priority and took the priority Bypass.

Additionally, some new rolling stock had joined our inventory.

The York car was definetly an unplanned surprise.  (The Beep has been upgraded with TMCC, and electronic couplers, and been a real work horse shuttling cars.)

After a good night's sleep posting pics is as easy as it ever was Smile  There were no site errors or hosting errors----only operator errors, ME!  The old brain and body were just plain tired.

The following pics are of one of my favorite MTH Diesel's, this engine is one of my favorites because of it's size, heft, smoking ability, great sounds and loves to pull long consists.  Enjoy!

All, Here is my first attempt to contribute to this photo fun strand. As you can see by the status of my layout I don't have too much to offer. This is going to be my Lehigh Valley coal consist for the coal operations part of the layout. Joe

Really struggling to  post pic links this afternoon-----anyone else?  I've never had this problem before using Photobucket.  I'm even on my 2nd computer with no success.

It may be the trains.com web site rather than Photobucket.  Sometimes, when I try to Preview, the Loading icon spins forever.

Both of my photo postings from this morning and this afternoon were through PhotoBucket, no problems in transfering the pictures.

UP Dessert Victory makes it's way thru town and around the country side:

Motive power shared by a B&O FT ABA, two powered A units and a dummy B, in the background:

Additional security following closely behind:

So much for the proverbial "ladder of success", just don't seem to get anywhere:

Another use for "out of service boxcars", Golf anyone ?

Have fun and enjoy the day !

Big Smile

Timboy
Stebbycentral: What we need to do about it is make it easier to upload pics to this forum!!!!!! I use Google Chrome and it is not compatible. So I tried opening up Internet Explorer and although I get all the options to work with, it still will not accept my pics - after countless efforts. I have no problem on any other forum uploading pics. Nice pic by you, by-the-way! - Regards, Timboy

Tim,

Try Photobucket, it works great.

Here is a photo of my American Flyer Baldwin diesel #355.  I am in the process of bringing it back to life. On top of the hood behind the headlight was a small black plastic blob.  Had no idea what ever went there, if anything, so after some research, I added a bell which I purchased in S Scale from Grandt Line Products.

Sunday Photo Fun - 05-16-10
Posted by stebbycentral on Sunday, May 16, 2010 8:47 AM

Wow, it's almost 9am Sunday morning and no picture postings yet.  We need to do something about that!

I finally got a plastic tender shell for my AF Atlantic.  It originally came with a metal shell, but I prefer the superior detail of the die casting.  In order to get the shell to fit on the original chassis I had to trim the sides back with a Dremel cut-off disk, and then drill holes for the mounting screws.

I have figured out what is wrong with my brain!  On the left side nothing works right, and on the right side there is nothing left!
