I have a newer die cast 4-4-2 in NYC markings with a cab number of 8637.  The Lionel model number is 6-28694.

Hope this helps.

Well correction in pics it looked like plastic but acually is die cast so my guess if

I can find a 8632 or something like that it will fit.

But not sure of all the numbers that go with it so if you have a modern diecast 4-4-2 please let me know of the number

I bought an NKP train set off of the bay and its going to need a new shell does anybody know what other engine shell numbers would fit this engine its an 4-4-2 with smoke. It looks like its plastic but I'm wondering if the 8632 (NYC) or others might as there die-cast. actually just looking for a shell that will fit. The cow catcher is completely broke off this one.

thanks in advance
